Lagonda: experience proven in competition
Track record
Our involment with Lagonda cars started in
the 1960 when Iain Macdonald was racing an LG 45 and John was driving a
Lagonda Rapier. When the business was founded in 1966 the LG 45 was
mildly developed which led to Iain winning the V.S.S.C. Brooklands
Memorial Trophy in 1972 against many more agile cars. Since then the
company has worked on and seen many Lagondas, building up a wealth of
knowledge and experience, particularly on the competition side.
Service, repair, restoration, tuning
The Company principals have owned, driven
and raced the cars for over 40 years
with numerous successes. We stock many new
and used parts and will undertake any work on these cars.
The Lagonda Rapier built between 1933 and
1938 was a superb small car with exceptional handling and brakes. In
most cases the bodies were produced by specialist coachbuilders. Find
